RADWANSKA: KREMLIN CUP – VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME

The Polish tennis player Agnieszka Radwanska gave an interview to Sport Express at the Kremlin Cup that started yesterday.

The main intrigue of the Kremlin Cup-2009 is the dispute between Serbian Jelena Jankovic, Russian Vera Zvonareva, Polish Agnieszka Radwanska and Italian Flavia Pennetta for the last ticket to Sony Ericsson Championshipd-2009 in Doha.

"Recently I have played in three serious tournaments," started Radwanska. "But I try to pay no attention to my tiredness. All my thoughts are about Doha."

"Till Tokyo I did not even think about Doha for I was only 13th in the Sony Ericsson rankings."

"But after successful performance there I acquired some hopes. And now the Kremlin Cup is very important for me. And I will do my utmost to get to the best eight there if I can."

"This year I had fourteen tournaments almost without rest in between them. Nevertheless I want to show my best tennis in Moscow. I cannot say that I am fresh and full of powers. But every match I will fight till the very end."

"My first opponent is Maria Kirilenko. I have played in doubles with her. But it does not make the match easier. Everybody knows everybody in WTA Tour rather well."

"Moreover the tactics differs from match to match and it is almost impossible to predict the way of play of the rival in one particular game."
