MORAVCHIK: WEISS WANTS TO WORK IN RUSSIA

Lubomir Moravchik is sure Vladimir Weiss would be glad to make a comeback to the Russian championship.


Moravchik, who previously wore the uniform of St-Etienne and Celtic teams, is now playing for his national side at the first World cup among the artists that takes place in Sochi.

Slovakia veteran comments on his friendship with Vladimir Weiss who was at the helm of Saturn Moscow region.

"We have been acquainted with Vladimir Weiss for twenty years already since we used to play in one team", said Moravchik to Sport Express.

"He proved that he is capable to become a good manager though his managerial career in Russia was not very successful."

"I am hopeful Russian people have only positive feelings on his work in Premier Liga."

"Vladimir told me about his work in Saturn a lot."

"He regrets having to leave Russian championship but the fate of the manager is always the same."

"Maybe he would get a chance to make a comeback to Russia."

"As for my football career I used to work with Slovakia U-16 team but my contract with the football federation has expired."

"So now I am absolutely free and ready to consider any offers from the clubs."

"Slovakia football federation have already found a replacement for me but on the other hand I would like to try myself working with professional players, maybe even in the Top division."

"Everything depends on the offers which I will receive."

"I speak several languages so I could work in a foreign club too."
