Bulgarian specialist has inked a contract with Perm club replacing their ex-head coach Miodrag Bozovic.
"We got Dimitrov’s agreement right after when we informed him about our choice, but we needed time to settle down several details of his contract", said Amkar president Valery Chuprakov to Sport Express.
"Yesterday Amkar signed the first newcomer – the 22-year-old Edin Junuzovic, the Slovenian championship’s best goalscorer with 13 goals".
"The fact that Amkar will perform in Euroleague-2009/10 campaign is a boost for me, but it’s not the most important factor, said Junuzovic to Sport Express. I should first show myself in a strong championship, and after that play in European tournament".
"I received a callup from the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for the first time. I will make for the first training camp on February 14. I am hopeful that coaches will keep on watching my performance in Amkar".
