SCARIOLO: I WILL WATCH THE GAME FROM THE STANDS

BC Khimki new head coach Sergio Scariolo has been introduced to the team.

The Italian specialist told Sport Express correspondent that he would head his new team in the match against Besiktas from the bench.

"I will talk to players ahead of the match, but I won’t interfere in the pre-game preparation process, because I didn’t work with the team yet", said Scariolo. "I will watch the match from the stands and them will return to Madrid to settle questions concerning the Russian visa".

"The talks with Khimki president, general manager and director on international affairs took place in Spain, and my contract conditions were settled up on Saturday".

"I never sign contracts for less than two years. When you join a club, you need to concentrate your attention on your work. That’s why I don’t hold any talks with the Spanish basketball federation. If the Spaniards want to see me at the helm of their national team, they need to address to Khimki president. It’s up to him to decide whether I can combine work in two places or now".
