RULIK TO HEAD AVANGARD?

Radim Rulik is one of the most probable candidate to replace Sergei Gersonsky at the post of Avangard head coach.

Avangard is likely to sack their current head coach Sergei Gersonsky. The club headhunters talk with several candidates to the post of head coach with five specialists having most chances to head the team. Bob Hartley, Andrei Khomutov, Dave King, Marek Sikora and Radim Rulik enter the sphere of Avangard interests.

Being the most probable claimant to the high post is Znojmo head coach Radim Rulik. Sport Express contacted with the Czech coach yesterday.

"I won’t discuss this matter, since I got no offers from Omsk club," said Rulik. "I have a running contract with Znojmo, so it would be unfair to talk about my possible appointment to the post of Avangard head coach."

"I believe it’s unlikely that Avangard is set to appoint Czech specialist, they will get a Canadian or American coach."
