Forward Yuri Babenko, who switched to St. Petersburg from Magnitogorsk in exchange for Alexei Simakov, can make his debut in his new club today as SKA play Metallurg Novokuznetsk. Babenko took part in his first training session with new partners on Sunday.
"I haven’t yet realized what had happened to me," said Babenko to Sport Express. "Everything completed so quickly!"

Three more first-choice players will return to SKA squad: guards Andrei Zyuzin and Darjus Kasparaitis as well as forward Igor Makarov.
