First Swedish and then North American mass media stated that Ak Bars signed a one-year deal with the defender Daniel Tjarnqvist.
The club's vice-president Ravil Shavallev dismissed the rumours saying that there was no contract whatsoever.
"We were not even in talks with Tjarnqvist and we can only wonder who spreads this kind of rumours," said Shavaleev to Sport Express.
Yet there is a possibility that Ak Bars will acquire a foreig player in the near future.
